Next, we'll take you to the bustling Kimironko Market, a colorful hub of local life and a great place to pick up some souvenirs. Afterward, we'll make our way to the Richard Hand House, a serene spot offering stunning views of the city. In the afternoon, we'll head to Akagera National Park, where you'll spend the night at our comfortable camping ground, nestled in the heart of the wild.
Prepare for an exhilarating day as you set out on a full-day game drive in Akagera National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife. Your goal today is to witness the "Big 5" – lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Your expert guide will lead you through the park, where you'll have the chance to encounter these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. As the sun sets over the African savanna, you'll return to our camping ground, where you'll spend the night in a tent, surrounded by the enchanting sounds of the wilderness.
Wake up to the soothing sounds of nature for a serene morning of bird watching. Akagera National Park is a birdwatcher's paradise with around 538 species, and you'll have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of avian species. After your bird watching experience, we'll head to Lake Ihema for a boating adventure. This serene lake is home to crocodiles, hippos, and numerous waterfowl.
