This 2-day St Petersburg tour is a comfortable way to see the main sights of this open air museum of a city. It includes such famous attractions as the Hermitage, Catherine Palace and Amber Room and Peterhof. Two famous cathedrals add to the top must-see things. This private tour was designed for anyone who would like to savour the history, art, and architecture without rushing around. Each day you will focus on one big museum and have short inside visits or activity. The pace of the tour allows you to also experience some simple local life activities, such as a visit to a farmers’ market or a grocery store.
ITINERARY
9:00 - meet at the hotel lobby 9:00-10:30 - driving city tour with stops for picture-taking i the most picturesque and famous venues 10:30-11:00 - visit to St. Isaac's Cathedral 11:30-12:00 - visit to Church on the Blood cathedral-museum continue the driving city tour 12:45-13:45 - time for lunch / snack / coffee-break 14:00-14:15 - Palace Square walk 14:15- 16:30 - tour of the Hermitage Museum (main museum complex including the Winter Palace and Old Masters' Collections) 16:45-17:30 - Nevsky Prospect drive (and/or a short walk) 18:00 - return to your hotel
9:00 - meet at the hotel lobby 9:00-10:30 - continue the driving city tour, head outside the city, transfer to the town of Pushkin (former Tsarskoye Selo = Tsars' Village) 10:30-12:30 - tour of the Catherine Palace and Amber Room, followed by a walk in the Catherine gardens. 12:30-13:30 - time for lunch / snack / coffee-break 13:30-14:30 - transfer to Peterhof 14:30-16:00 - tour of Peterhof parks and fountains 16:00-17:00 - transfer back to St. Petersburg 17:00-18:00 - time for shopping / a visit to the farmers' market / trip by a local metro (=subway) or any other local place or activity (upon your choice) 18:00-18:15 - return to your hotel

We pick you up for the tour from your hotel on both days. At the end of each day we drive you back to the hotel (finishing point).
A local English-speaking tour guide will accompany you on both days (timing as per programme).
- Private Vehicle
A comfortable air-conditioned vehicle is at your back and call on both days (timing as per programme). The size of the car depends upon the size of your group. For a couple it will be a comfortable sedan, for a group of 3-5 tourists we'll provide a Mercedes mini-van, for larger groups spacious Mercedes Sprinter vans are available.
For groups of 5 tourists and more we provide headsets so that you could hear your guide clearly even in the most crowded and loud places.
Museum entrance tickets to all the museums and palaces listed in the itinerary are included in the price of the tour.
