Itinerary

  • 8:30 am: Make sure you arrive at our office to prepare for your trekking
  • 9:00 am: Meeting with your guide and departure from the office by Tuk-Tuk

   We start this trip in the morning at 9:00 am from the morning market. We first drive you out of Luang Namtha city by Tuk-Tuk, around 30 minutes to arrive at the starting point in a village called Ban Chalernsouk village. There we can see how they make bamboo paper making (depending on season), weaving, local dye cotton. After that, we will start with easy walking up and down of mountain for about 3 hours, before heading deep into the primary forest. Our your way, your guide will point out plants used for medicine and we will have to prepare food for cook inside bamboo at water fall place. While in the jungle, take some time to listen to the life sounds around you. After enjoying a big lunch we have to continue walking down to visit Lantan museum and several product by handmade and then, we drive to visit different villages along the way back to city and around 3-4:00 pm back to Luang Namtha city.

Tour Introduction

Trip Overview This unique loop trail will focus on the culture of the Lanten people. We will pass through beautiful nature, enjoying the lush mountains. Trained guides will also share information about the ecology and culture. Time will always be taken to explore multiple ethnic villages and we will arrive on a mountain top with stunning views. Finally, we will learn about traditional crafts and engage with Sida and Khmu villages as well.
