ITINERARY
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy scenic aerial views as you fly over Kenya’s dramatic landscapes before landing in the heart of the Mara. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your lodge for check-in and lunch. After some time to relax, set out in the afternoon for your first game drive across the vast plains of the Maasai Mara. This is an ideal time to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest and other plains game as the wildlife becomes more active in the cooler hours of the day. Return to the lodge in the evening to unwind, enjoy dinner, and soak in the sounds of the African wilderness.
After breakfast at your lodge, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi by road. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you gradually exit the Maasai Mara, offering a final chance to spot wildlife roaming the open plains—elephants moving in family groups, giraffes browsing acacia trees, and plains game scattered across the savannah.
