ITINERARY
Activities: Full-day safari Accommodation: Arusha Morning Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha around 7:00 AM. Depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5-hour drive). Arrive at the park gate around 9:30 AM and begin your game drive. Explore Tarangire’s vast savannahs, baobab-studded landscapes, and the Tarangire River known for huge elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. Afternoon Picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park. Continue with an afternoon game drive towards the Silale Swamp area, a wildlife-rich zone where predators often hunt. Around 4:00 PM, exit the park and drive back to Arusha (2.5 hrs)
Activities: Nature, culture & relaxation Accommodation: None (end of tour) Morning - Materuni Village After breakfast, depart from Arusha around 7:30 AM for Materuni Village (approx. 2.5 hours). Arrive and start your guided coffee and cultural tour with the local Chagga community. Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, roasted, and prepared traditionally and enjoy a freshly brewed cup! Take a short hike to Materuni Waterfalls, where you can relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Kilimanjaro foothills. Local Chagga-style hot lunch served at the village. Afternoon – Chemka Hot Springs (Kikuletwa) After lunch, continue to Chemka Hot Springs (approx. 1-hour drive). Enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by lush vegetation — a perfect place to unwind after your safari. In the late afternoon, drive to Airport or back to arusha for an extra night
