Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a friendly Dicksonia Safaris representative will meet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax, explore the city, or simply prepare for the exciting days ahead. Arusha, known as the safari capital of Tanzania, sits at the foot of Mount Meru and offers views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. It’s the perfect gateway to Tanzania’s northern circuit parks. After breakfast, your professional Dicksonia Safari Guide will pick you up and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours).
