Join a small group of up to 6 travelers on an unforgettable 6-day budget safari across Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations. This adventure takes you through Tarangire, Serengeti, and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, offering the chance to witness the Great Migration (seasonal) and encounter the Big Five in their natural habitats. You will stay in comfortable dome tents at budget-friendly public campsites located inside the parks perfect for travelers seeking an authentic safari experience. Arrival and departure nights in Arusha are not included, but can be arranged at an extra cost upon request. This safari covers all park fees, transport, guiding services, game drives, meals during safari, and airport transfers from Kilimanjaro or Arusha airports. Travel insurance (40 USD) on arrival at the airport and tipping are recommended
ITINERARY
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. You may choose to explore Arusha town and its local markets, or simply relax and prepare for the safari adventure ahead. Meals are not included on this day, and accommodation is not included but can be arranged at extra cost.
After an early breakfast at your hotel, depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately 2–3 hours away. Enjoy a shared game drive in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and the park's iconic baobab trees. A picnic lunch is served inside the park. In the late afternoon, check-in at a budget campsite with tents near Tarangire, where you can relax around the campfire. Meals included are breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and accommodation is in a tent at the campsite.
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, a journey of approximately 5–6 hours with scenic views along the way. Stop en route for a picnic lunch and an optional short game drive. Arrive in central Serengeti (Seronera area) for an afternoon shared game drive before checking in at a budget campsite with tents. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with overnight accommodation in the tented campsite.
Spend a full day on shared game drives across the Serengeti plains, witnessing wildebeest, zebras, predators, and other wildlife. Picnic lunch is served inside the park. In the evening, return to your tented campsite for dinner and overnight stay. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with accommodation in a tent at the campsite.
