ITINERARY

Arrival from Ashgabat International Airport The accompanying guide will meet you at the airport. Transfer to “AkAltyn” hotel. Hotel check in. Free time for leisure. City Tour - Ashgabat, translated from Persian as “the City of Love”. The tour will include: • The monument of Neutrality (by the way, on the top of the arch of Neutrality stands the gold statue of the first President of Turkmenistan SaparmuratNiyazov); • Independence Park; • Wedding palace “Bagtkoshgi”; • “Alem” Ferris wheel; • Memorial Complex; • “Oguzhan” Presidential Palace and “Rukhyyet” Palace is the official residence and workplace of the President of Turkmenistan (The palace is not open to the public, but visitors can view it from the outside); • Ashgabat Olympic complex city where in 2017 was held “5th Indoor and martial art Games” (Complex is not open to the public, but visitors can view it from the outside). Dinner and overnight in hotel.

After breakfast in the hotel,we’llexplore the rich history of Turkmenistan. • Visit National Museum of History (closed on Tuesdays) where you can take a close look at exclusive ancient artifacts and treasuries from different historical and archaeological sites of Turkmenistan. • The fortress of Old Nisa (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the earliest of Parthian Empire capitals (III c. BC – III c. AD). Located in an atmospheric area at the foot of the Kopet-Dag Mountains. Archaeological excavations in two parts of the site have revealed richly decorated architecture, illustrative of domestic, state, and religious functions. Situated at the crossroads of important commercial and strategic axes, this powerful empire formed a barrier to Roman expansion while serving as an important communication and trading center between East and West, North, and South. Lunch time. • ErtogrulGazi mosque. Known as a Turkish mosque (reminiscent of Blue Mosque in Istanbul) it is present from Turkey to Turkmen in honor of ErtogrulGazi, a Turkmen leader and the father of Osman, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. • Lenin’s monument, the only monument that stood in the 1948 earthquake while the whole city was destroyed. • Russian bazaar for local souvenirs, handicrafts, and carpets. Evening sightseeing of Ashgabat city and take a night picture. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel.Meet at the lobby with your tour guide to explore the city. • Visit Carpet Museum - one of the most unique museums in Central Asia. Witness the wonders of craftsmanship as you marvel at the smallest carpet ever created designed to carry keys with utmost elegance. And hold your breath as you stand before the world’s largest handmade carpet, an astonishing feat with a total area of 301 square meters! No wonder it earned its rightful place in the Guinness Book of Records in 2003. • Visit theArt Studio Keshde, and take a part at Master class and make upcycle jewelry. Lunch time PM drive to Anau region. • Seytjemalledin Mosque Ruins (build in 1456) which is referred to in many historical sources as “House of Beauty” (in ANEW/ANAU city); • Anau Fortress; • Eco-Farm and Traditional Guest House. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Breakfast in the hotel • VisitingNokhurVillage Nokhurmountain tribe, who have preserved their culture, traditional crafts and architecture, inhabit the village of Nokhur. • Kow Ata cave and Underground Lakeon the way back. • Then we drive 40 km to Gokdepe village to visit Arkadash horse farm where you will have a chance to see, feed and drive the unique breed of Turkmen Ahal-Teke horses.From there will stop at Gokdepe fortress and the mosque. The village was the site of the biggest battle for Russian domination in Central Asia in the late 19 c. The fortress is also a site of a beautiful Gok-depe mosque built in 1996 in honor of the fortress defenders.
