In case of a Landslide or Due to any other reasons if Tsomgo Lake is closed then Alternate Sightseeing will be provided. Optional Nathula(additional cost) (14140 ft / 4310 meters / 20 Kms in 1hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) Baba Mandir (13100ft / 3994 Mts / 16kms in 1hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) is an Indo-China border, controlled by the Indian army & is situated approx. 20 Kms ahead of Tshangu Lake at a height of 14140 ft / 4310 at this point the right arm of the “V” which is 4 Kms takes one to Baba Mandir & left arm of the “V” which is 4 Kms takes one to Nathula. One can opt for Nathula Excursion by paying a supplement cost which varies from month to month. Nathula permit gets confirmed 24 hours before the journey date & it is subject to permit availability as it is allotted as per lottery. Nathula is closed on Monday & Tuesday for tourists. Organizing the permit at the last moment is not possible & a clear window of 72 hrs. with proper documents is required to process the permit. To process the permit, we would require 04 passport-size photographs & photo proof identity cards such as /Voter ID / Passport /. There is no refund, In case the permit is confirmed by Sikkim Tourism & due to whatever reason (Land slide, Heavy rainfall, VIP Movement, Health issue etc) one is not able to visit.

Lachung -about 118 km from Gangtok in North Sikkim, is situated at an altitude of 8,858 ft. Also known as the 'Small Pass', Lachung is embraced by snow-capped mountain peaks, breathtaking waterfalls, sparkling streams and apple orchards, as well as peaches and apricots. The market of this city is filled with handicrafts such as exquisitely woven rugs and blankets that make this town ideal for shopping sprees. The residents of Lachung who are mostly Bhutias call themselves Lachung Pass. Yumthang Valley- About 25 km from Lachung, at an altitude of 11,800 ft, lies the Yumthang Valley. As the tree line ends, a vast stretch of valley exposes a dense area filled with Rhododendrons in different colours like purple, red, blue, pink, etc. The view is captivating and looks as if it’s taken out of a painting. Mt. Katao-Located in the northern part of Sikkim, almost 144 kilometres from the capital, Gangtok, and 28 km from Lachung, Mt. Katao is amongst the most spectacular sights you can imagine in the state. However, one has to avail of permits from the army to enter the area where this majestic peak is located. This surreal mountain offers the onlookers a splendid view. This destination is also a perfect place for adventure lovers as sports like skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and stone grinding can be enjoyed here during the winter season Zero Point-With super freezing temperatures at an altitude of 15,300 ft, Zero Point is really like heaven where one can get the most magnificent views. Also called Yume Samdong, Zero Point is the place where three rivers meet, surrounded by snow-clad mountains and offering a panoramic vista to view. One can often see yaks grazing on the grass to be found between the snow ridges. There is hardly any vegetation at Zero Point other than some stretches of grassy land which become visible when the snow melts, After Sightseeing Return to Hotel at Lachung Check into Hotel Night stay at Lachung.

Early Morning breakfast & checkout from the Hotel & drive towards Gangtok. Recommended: After reaching Gangtok free to roam around the local market on your own for shopping and a leisurely evening at the MG Marg.

Morning breakfast goes for a full-day sightseeing Tour. As per your Itinerary, you will be visiting- Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Tashi View Point, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Do DrulChorten Stupa, Flower Show, Ropeway, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. After Sightseeing back to Hotel and overnight stay in Gangtok. Note: - Rumtek Monastery cannot be covered on the same day as time doesn’t permit. One can exclude the major points & opt for Rumtek Monastery in place of other sightseeing points.
