The Everest Base Camp helicopter trek is an alternative way to experience the iconic Everest region in Nepal. It combines the thrill of a helicopter ride with the adventure of trekking to the Everest Base Camp.
ITINERARY
Upon arrival, meet and assist by Parikrama Treks representative. Transfer to the hotel.
Early morning flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. Meet the trekking crew and trek through lush green vegetation to Phakding.
Trek along the Dudh Koshi River, pass through forests, and enter Sagarmatha National Park. Cross suspension bridges to reach Namche Bazaar, with stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, and Thamserku.
Rest and explore Namche Bazaar. Visit the Sherpa Museum, the local market, or hike to Hotel Everest View for panoramic mountain views.
Walk through a forested zone with splendid mountain views. Reach Tengboche, visit the monastery, and immerse in the cultural experience.
Hike through a deserted area with bushes, reaching Dingboche, a village enclosed by stone walls, offering protection to crops and shelter to grazing animals.
A day for acclimatization with breathtaking views of Ama Dablam and the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. Short walk with time to relax in the afternoon.
Head north to Pheriche, encountering majestic mountains. Walk to Khumbu Glacier to reach Lobuche.
Follow a rocky path with views of icy glacial ponds. Reach Gorakshep and continue to Everest Base Camp, exploring the base of the world’s highest mountain.
Early climb to Kala Patthar for sunrise views. Return to Gorakshep and await the helicopter for a scenic ride back to Kathmandu.
A spare day for contingencies. Explore historical sites in Kathmandu or indulge in local markets for souvenirs.
