Tour Introduction

Early in the morning, we will depart for Mindo. The Mindo cloud forest is located on the edge of the Chocó bioregion, just two hours from Quito. It is one of the most diverse places in the world; the mountains and forests with waterfalls and crystal-clear streams form one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Mindo is the perfect place for adventure, relaxation, and the discovery of immense biodiversity. In this area, you can find a great variety of birds, including tanagers, flycatchers, toucans, and hummingbirds. We will visit the Chocolate Factory and the Hummingbird Refuge, and we will have the opportunity to do canopy or tarabita (optional-not included). In addition, depending on the weather, we could visit the orchid house, the butterfly farm, or a beautiful waterfall immersed in nature. Finally, we will return to the city of Quito.
