Tour Introduction

We will head to the north of Ecuador through the Andes Mountains. First, we will stop at the biscocho factory in Cayambe, and then we will visit "El Reloj Solar de Quitsato." Afterwards, we will arrive at the San Pablo Lake viewpoint, where we can enjoy a unique and magical landscape. For centuries, regional markets have played an important role in the lives of the indigenous people, providing meeting places for exchange and socializing. The markets of the inter-Andean region are famous for the fine handicrafts that are traded there; the market of Otavalo, also known as the Plaza de Ponchos, is the most famous in South America for its textile weavings in belts and looms, and we will have time to visit it and stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets of Otavalo The next stop will be at the beautiful Cuicocha Lagoon. Cuicocha is considered a unique body of water because it is located in the crater of a volcano. Finally, we will visit Cotacachi, a town famous for the beautiful leather garments of excellent quality made by its artisans. Finally, we will return to Quito.
